The study aims at answering two questions: 1) how effective are special service offered to the disabled of the Intifada in achieving psycho-social concordance of this sector of the society and 2) how do the Intifada disabled view the services offered t o them in rehabilitation facilities.

The study sample comprised 131 persons with physical disabilities and vision impairments. In the discussion of the study results, the author indicates that although rehabilitation institutions play an important role, they were not effective in achieving the desired goal of reintegrating the disabled persons into society. A number of suggestions were listed by the author for achieving a higher level of performance and effectiveness of rehabilitation facilities in the country.
